Finger weaving

In my childhood I've learnt a very funny weaving tecnique. Since then I taught my children and many other children this finger weaving. They are able to do this at the age of 4 - 5. They enjoy it very much and it is a very good exercise for manual skills as well.

String art

Since years I am interested in string art. There are endless possibilities to weave string on pegs.
I just started the basic forms with pegs and I let my children to play with it.
I think I should make a video for this activity :-)

Flower holders

Ripple Pattern

In my childhood I learned crocheting from my grandma. She always made very beautiful yarn decorations. 
A few years ago I started again to do some crochet. 
I like very much wavy pattern, so I bought a really nice book: Jan Eaton: 200 Ripple Stitch Patterns. These are for knitworks and for crochet as well. 

This was my first work. I used cream, pink and purple colors:

And this is how I use now for decoration at the stairs:

Monkey fist

I really like Monkey fist :-) But it is not easy to understand how to make, that's why I spin the string only 3 times instead of 4 or 5.
